The Jewish bride
Rembrandt's "The Jewish bride" is on display in Amsterdam, The Netherlands

This painting is always called 'The Jewish Bride'. But nobody really knows for sure if she is a bride. We don't know their names, either. It might be a couple from the Bible, such as Isaac and Rebecca. Rembrandt didn't give the painting a title.
